The Creative Media Lab is proud to host the long awaited Skateboard Deck Art Show at Tavo Coffee. In the making since the Fall of 2023, professor joey’s love for skateboard culture spilled over to the Creative Media Lab when he found out he could order Skateboard Decks in bulk. Once he got the first batch in, he began giving the decks out to local artists & students and then artists around the central Texas region to create Skateboard Deck art. The results have been amazing and we are super excited to highlight and share the Skateboard Deck Art at Tavo Coffee to kick off the art installation.
Below are short descriptions of the boards and bios of the artist, we hope you all are able to make the event and join us for a great night of Skateboard Deck Art.
In addition to the Skateboard Deck Art, we will also have musical performers of Seesar and their musical guests. Seesar is a world renowned musician, known for their eclectic sounds and instrumental creations.
