Convergent Media Collective is proud to announce Texas A&M’s Department of Communication’s New Media & Gaming Lab Spring/Summer 2020 Online Student Film Festival.
This Film festival will focus around shorts (10 minutes or less) in the following categories:
- Vlogs
- Inspirational
- Make Up Tutorial
- Social distancing short
- Student Life
- Sports
- Sport Commentary
- Documentary
- Mockumenary
- Comedy
- Horror
- Twitch/Gaming Video
- Music Video
- Action
We will have awards for each category. And we will have awards for the following:
- Best of Festival
- Audience Choice
Who Can Participate?
This is open to Texas college students. Winners will be contacted and confirmed as students, their bios, film background and aspirations will be shared on the winners page.
Submission Process
To submit your film upload it to youtube between May 15th & May 20th unlisted (video should have less than 5 views). In the description please include your school and your equipment used.
We will then have the judges view the films over May 20th – May 31st. Then on Wednesday June 3rd we will launch a website with the videos embedded and viewable in playlists and will have people view the films from June 3rd to June 5th with winners announced on Monday June 8th.
