Join us for a Freedom Writing Workshop, in collaboration with Rountree Market, Craft Cultura and Facilitator joey lopez, Freedom Writing Workshop is an opportunity for artists from around the Brazos area to come together in a platica writing format to share their ideas and thoughts.
The workshop will be co-facilitated by joey lopez and Craft Cultura. The theme will focus on “expressing your lived reality in Brazos county.”
Facilitators will lead participants through various forms of writing formats and self expression and then participants will have time to write and share their pieces/ideations. The purpose being to begin to create an expressive community where stories are shared and community knowledge is built.
Additionally we will have snacks and drinks provided.
